Surely that should be 'back to Creighton-Ward Manor...'?

Palace Bear, I worry about you! Either you are Parker, or have begun dressing up as Lady Penelope!

"Parker! Fetch the Rolls"
"Yus m'lady. Will m'lady be requiring ham or cheese?"
"Oh! Do grow up Parker!"
I'm equally concerned that you could begin to envisage me with blonde curls and wearing designer gowns!

Dove Grey is a pale greyish beige. Introduced October '61.
The only greys offered in '57 were Clarendon Grey (see the pics with my post in General Discussion > Spotted Today page 78 dated 29/07/17) or Birch Grey. Birch Grey is a possible contender, and would make sense with your chassis number. I'm not familiar with the appearance of Birch Grey but I think its a kind of muddy off-white/grey (similar to colour of bark on silver birch tree?). BMC code is GR3. ICI code is 2758.

That certainly looks like dove grey. Big question is does it match any part of the car? Compare it with something obviously not repainted, and un-faded by sunlight or harsh polishing. Inside face of a glovebox lid for example. Hopefully yours aren't missing

Ok i think im almost there to tackle the paint work ive decided on 2k as i think im safer with that although more safer would have been syntho as i dont know whats been applied underneath over the years. 2k has a quicker drying time so its going to be dove grey any idea how much paint i would need to be safe on mainly the outer skins not under the boot lid inner wings etc,
thanks,
Tony.

Dove Grey is a later colour option. It's your car, so paint it whatever colour you want but it would not have been that colour originally.

The original BMC paint code for Old English White is WT3 regardless of whether you order cellulose, 2k or whatever. Like many colours, there are various shades.

If you want paint for a partial re-spray, it may be a good idea to take something off the car (glove box lid is a favourite) and get it colour-matched by a paint supplier.

ok i will be doing the whole car including the engine bay engines out ready and all been rebuilt as with the gearbox also,
ive chosen that colour as i think it will match up to my red rear wing trims and the new red interior,
thanks.

Old English White does suit the Minor really well and it is a great contrast with a red interior

.
What do you mean by red wing trims?

If you mean the piping on the rear wing joints, and you're going for accuracy it should be white irrespective of the interior colour. Yhe body side pin-stripe should be Tartan Red. I must say, red piping and red interior sound good to me
