Many thanks for the pics seems your switch is from a Land Rover the switch I have is from a Rover 2000 which as you can see has 6 terminals the washer switch simply unscrews

What I can tell is the my switch has a delay function to the left that delay unit is wired independently.

Therefore the following applies

Off 6,5&4 apply
On normal speed 1,3 & 4
High speed 2 and 3

So any idea where the 4 wires go?

:D Too all of you thank you for all the advice on this thread I have a 2 speed wiper on Meggie but controlled via a awfully installed stalk on the column as I am trying to restore her back to as near as original (with a few upgrades) this has been a lifesaver.
