Upon checking the entire register today it would appear the 2 x designation 6 entries were made by my predecessor and clearly should read as 5.

Thanks

So no "6" on LCVs?

Interesting to see what Scandinavia used....

Sweden were RHD and were the last country to change to LHD

Norway early LCVs were designate 3 (LHD) small numbers

Denmark seems to be the same the early DOMI van splitscreen was a designate 3 so it seems even the main importer did not assemble?

Thanks.

So, despite "6" being given as a Minor vin prefix, in reality, was never used, just "53"?!

What would a Scandinavian CKD LCV be?

Have a few "53s" listed, so was the 2nd "3" relevant to LHD, rather than paint type - which wouldn't be used as vehicle supplied unpainted?

What about the passenger varients?

Would of thought painting a vehicle in bits slightly impractical - let alone paint chips when the bits are removed from the crate the other end - anyone else question the "6" designation?

3 (LHD) no mention of CKD in any early LCVs mentioned in Scandinavia even early series 11 DOMI conversion is not listed as CKD but carries OGH 35 confirming primer so was 6 used! as you would have thought this one would have been CKD photo copyright not for reposting/reuse

Presumably a single "6"? Is it a post '57?

Still doesn't explain " 53" - what, roughly is the chassis number(?) - perhaps the "6" was only introduced on single digit 948cc's?

Please contact the owner of that "OG" LCV - finally clear up EVERY UK built Minor id prefix.

So did I! I thought there was hope, .......... then there was none .................. or not a lot!
Chris, say thank you to that nice man that has helped you with your information, and Russ, just try and understand 'Chris on a mission' a little better while bridges are built.
If both sides actually build and nurture this relationship, then it is win win for both these dedicated minor guys, and for all minor owners.

To be fair, Chris has been saying please and thanks in most of his posts, however let's hope this cooperation will continue as both parties have a good combined knowledge of our vehicles, which I'm sure we all value. :D

Next thing, you will be arrogantly and patronisingly advising me to say 'thank you' for you 'putting me right' on the matter!
