And there was me telling Greendefender that I wasn't sure it was a good idea to roll a Traveller without its wood.... Think he's got his answer here!

Most of the wood is still in place only the front half of the wheel arch has gone and the part up the back of the door pillar nothing seems to have budged but I did weld in a few braces as well to be sure

Thanks David, I am trying not to over lap any metal when putting in patches everything is butt welded unless where is plug welded seams etc.
I am just hoping the wood will turn out ok.

Yes!! Quite good job so far guys, isn't it? I just wish I could give the same loving care as well to my loved traveler. Living in London is almost impossible unless there is a big fat wallet to the mercy of these garage exploiters.
My congrats to all those who strive and persist on restoring in order to keeping one of national icons on the roads!!
