My ’57 4 door came with fold and tipping fitted Passenger side, and fold and tipping plus for / aft adjustable Drivers side. Rather liking fold and tipping seats, and adjustable, I foolishly fitted to both side. Adjustable lever prevents tipping. Ho Hum

Hi luvvaminor
Surprisingly it actually does!
Jonjeans yes I love them too but we have an adjustable leaver on our drivers side seat in the middle underneath the seat but it doesn't prevent tipping on our seat is it fitted correctly I'm wondering.

hi luvvaminor just choose one of the smilies from the pics on the right it doesn't look like the smiley when you type it but it appears like the image when others view it.

Panky... now there are some serious spelling mistakes there! now there are two explanations I think either you didn't pay attention at school at all or you are excelled at Maths and were rubbish at English as oppose to me who excelled at the latter. That was funny though I did have a giggle!

Just a thought Luvvaminor - have you ticked the box to disable smilies?

Hi Panky
I must admit I did a lot of daydreeming as well at school especially in Maths!
Congratulations on your masters degree in Smart a***ity that is not an easy subject to study!!

Can you spot my deliberate spelling mistake
Now back to what really matters Morris Minors does anyone know that if you have a snapped jacking point (my husband cranked the jack up rather too enthusiastically)

as it is the strongest point on the car will this effect its stability? And should I get it repaired asap? It is the left hand passenger side jacking point.

The jacking point itself has no other structural purpose and wasn't fitted to earlier (split windscreen) cars. However, it is probable that rust in that area has caused the failure and therefore the crossmember to which the jacking point was attached should be checked asap for corrosion as it also supports the front suspension torsion bars further along and if this area is also weakened you will have a more major repair on your hands

Oh, no! You're going to get people saying, you should NEVER use the jacking point! Which always seems a bit defeatist to me.

(look at that - face at last)

Ok, panky I don't know what I was doing wrong. Back to the original theme of the double-folding front seat, I found it very useful before I was married to fold it away to allow socialising in the back.

Hi there
No not yet I haven't taken her to the garage as it has been pouring down here for ages and I don't want to get water anywhere near it. It is raining now too and has been all day

.Thanks for asking luvvaminor. All ok in your Morris Minor world?
Maddie.
