Best to keep the insurers informed. You never know...

Yes I was joking however I did have a dream that something similar happened!
Glad you all have the garages you want, listening to the rain last night I felt happy that Cyril was locked away all dry!

A little generator might come in handy.

I too have my name down for a council garage but I haven't heard anything I presume the list is a long one.

I thought that maybe a council garage would be cheaper than that say maybe £30 per month. I am paying £45 too.
Yes SteveClem I had thought that I may use a generator if I did require power.

Mine were quite noisy,to be honest. We had 3 powerflo 2.8 kva generators from Toolstation about 10 years ago. Think they were just over £100 each in those days. Quite crude but simple and reliable. Originally got them as backup for power cuts when we ran the holiday cottages but proved very useful for running power tools when distant from the mains. We had 5acres to maintain and a genny fitted snugly into the bucket of the mini tractor.
Need to be well ventilated! I believe the Honda ones are much quieter, but a lot more money. Second hand ones seem to hold their money pretty well.
