I have just bought an original vintage Lucas King Of The Road motor Klaxon to replace the modern reproduction in the car and can't wait to repaint it and raise a few laughs along the sea front!

Haha thanks I'm going to need it

And yeah thankfully Norma's not a split screen haha But I am almost debating weather to just get a fibreglass one but no one seems to know what speeds they stsrt shaking and how much they do

I don't think you need to worry about speed induced shaking of the sun visor from a Minor (Unless it's packing a Rover V8 under the bonnet).

Well that's what I thought

But that's all I seem to hear about the fibreglass ones is that they don't do well at speed

[quote="MoggyBlue"][quote="Boomlander"]At the end of the day period accessories are, and have always been, fitted to vehicles as the owner sees fit.
Like them or loathe them, a great many owners, myself included, take pleasure in personalising their vehicle to their own taste.
Our car is adorned with headlamp peaks, auxiliary lamps, klaxon horn, badge bar with badges and a host of other goodies "Not Original" to the manufacture and we have always had a very positive response at shows, the most common comment being....
"What a lovely fun car". If nothing else it always makes people smile and that can't be a bad thing surely?

I was never that fond of aftermarket accessories, but the more that I hear of people slagging them off the more I feel like rushing out and buying some totally non politically correct headlamp peaks...for all of the cars.

Actually you make a good point, ---- how do you see traffic lights with a visor fitted, apart from sitting 3 cars lengths back from the junction!

Isn't it obvious les.....

stick your head out the window
To be honest I'm sure if I fit one I'd get use to it and find a way even if I make a mirror to fit on the dash so I can see at an angle and see the lights
