Yep, the V6 Type 9 does have a longer input shaft.
200 bhp is the very limit for a Type 9.
The MT 75 is stronger and can take more horsepower which is why Ford used it on the 4x4 Cosworth.

4x4 Cosworth Minor uses an mt 75 gearbox and this has well over 400 bhp!!!
