The gearbox was empty of oil. I filled it up but the problem is still there.
Not a good sign, probably lots of internal wear now.

Hi All,

Assuming that the existing gearbox is…..well you know ….ed I called Bul Motif today they do not either stock a full gearbox nor the parts…..does anyone know where i can find one?

My 1953 s11 does the same sometimes I have tried double declutching and releasing the clutch and trying again but what works for me when it happens is I go into forth and then straight away back to 3rd this works every time for me ,as the problem only exist going up the gears and not back down through the box

That could be selector fork loose on the shaft - could be worthwhile taking the side cover off (don't lose the two springs ) and check if they are tight.

Thanks Roy for the advice its a bit cold now down here in the South to get under the car ,maybe about April /May next year
