I have a 1970 4dr which is "Ughie",
been on driving lessons all his life until retirement,
his mate is a very late ozzy van named "Garfield",
Who were both relieved when "JJ" (jag'),put in an appearance looking all grand!!
until he broke down,ha!ha!
and "Ughie" &"Garfield" had to keep picking up the slack?
Me,well,
after spending most of my life with 'skinned' knuckles from moggies,
and a 'crease' in my head
from constant banging from the bonnet ,
even I am now taking it easier, but,
still have an engine & 'box
plus other job's to do in 2014,
not bad for 72+ aye?

My Pickup is called Alice, does anyone have the name of their car painted, stencilled or any other method, on the actual car anywhere, and if so, where. Can't imagine names emblazoned on the nose like 2nd World War Bomber, maybe in a subtle spot inside somewhere?[frame]Image[/frame]

I have mine stamped on the hidden metalwork, along with the reg number, just in case it's ever nicked I 'may' be able to trace it. I did think about incorporating the name into the pinstripe on the side, but unfortunately I don't have the funds to get that chap who does it for Rolls Royce, and I'm certainly not willing to make a hash of it myself!
