i think the response from tysonn sums up nicely the problems with satin paint it can be a real problem to keep looking good, if you polish it too you end up with a gloss finish, i tend to use it on small parts in the bonnet bay which to me do not look right in gloss black.. even though it might have come out of the factory a gloss colour.

Samuria, have you asked this over on the other side? Isn't this a finish that alot of the custom guys have? Maybe they can offer advice.
