I'm viewing it on 2 17" flatscreen monitors at 1280x1024, and the whole page, left hand margin included takes up about a screen and a quarter! 
That'll be 'cos the pics are 1152x864 pix., pushing browser window to 1539 width. As Justin said, he's tried to make them smaller, so I'll live with it!
