Assumeing you are buying a new radio then you shgould not have to cut off the adapters. There is an ISO standard for connections, it has one plug for power related connections and a second one for Speaker connections.edtog wrote:Just a quick check before I take the plunge will ANY make/type of cd player fit my moggy, I'm assuming I'll have to cut off the adaptors anyway, and where can I get an internal aerial as I don't want to drill holes in the wings or roof.

For sure, My new radio came with both connectors and about 6" of cable on them. I was going to put the old one into the moggie when I have done the alternator conversion. I've got the kit coming on Friday and I thought (From the alternator thread) that it might be a good idea to photograph it.Gareth wrote:Ah, but the Minor doesn't have any adaptors fitted as standard, of course... so you'd either have to alter the bundled adaptor to fit, or fit a different one...
