I have just taken out insurance Minor Saloon all standard, Carole Nash, £104. Lancaster £107. and Footman James, £128. Carole Nash = Fully Comp, Home start, Recovery, Legal ect.

We just had a quote of £128 for our latest Moggie, we have three cars between us, and Footman James knew I was a Club member, so we went to Adrian flux for £125 and 5000 miles, fully comp. seemed a bit dear but had to have insurance to pick her up.

have not had to insure the minor yet but for the other cars I use diamond for the S2 Land rover and Lotus elan (£100 & £130) for the TR7V8 they I found Peter best the cheapest (£130).
My experince is you have to shop around, they all seem to have a preferred type of vehicle, location age group etc, being older (I am 47) and having a garage certainly helps though.
