Don't advocate the 'Rambo' approach, but...something far more subtle.

Perhaps well placed loose bricks surrounding the vehicle?

"There is NO connection with 10 garden rakes lying alongside my
Minor & 2 youths in A & E suffering from broken noses!"

If its on three wheels they're gonna struggle to run off with it. Take your rotor arm out so you'll here the car turning over which could alert you. Failing that, I hate to say it but if they want it and three wheels doesn't put them off they'll have it. You've got cameras and you could invest in some gadgetry. For my splitty I got a GPS that tracks and sends you text messages if it starts to move without me knowing and shows on google maps where it is with long and lat numbers. also sends you a message if its been tampered with and has internal lithion ion batteries so it runs even if somebody has managed to lift up the backseats and find where its hidden and snip its power feed. it actually starts recording the people inside the car (audio) to and saves it as a voice mail! Man I sound paranoid! I'm also working on adapting a removable steering wheel boss to retro fit to my banjo steering wheel, really surprised nobody has done this yet to my knowledge.

You can do what you can but in they end if somebody wants it they'll have, just make it is hard as poss, my mates vw caddy pickup got nicked out side his house in Coventry and the drive shafts weren't even on it, so that's somebody turning up with a flat bed! :D, that's dedication.

Which underlines my conviction to do whatever is necessary to defend my property.
The law in this country does nothing - except defend the criminals and site their 'human rights' these days, no wonder they have no fear of it.
After all what's the worst that could happen to them, playing by the rules, a cushy stretch in some soft '5 star' prison, with time off for 'good behaviour'!!
I'd have them all breaking rocks and mending the roads in a chain gang! With no remission!! (Save us some of our taxes too!)
Like I said, the hardest bit would be to catch them at it.

How do you know they were YOBS.?
The definition is as follows.
A lout....A clumsy ill mannered young man.
A hooligan...A young ruffian.

Looking at your photo`s how can you ascertain they were either of these descriptions.

And why automatically say they were Drunk.?

Have you never walked home at 5.30am in the morning, sober and with no intent on causing any damage or nuisance.? :D

How do you know they were not keen birders out listening at the dawn chorus. :D

Next you will be saying they were "sheet lifters" . :D :D :D :D :D

That's a mighty useful tool you have there. :D :D :D

The lorry unit I mean. :D

You could reverse up to a trailer full of Morris Minor spares just arrived from Sri Lanka, take them round to " Mickey The Fence" who could then sell them on Ebay to us all.

Nobody would suss a thing. :o :o :o

Please note that I never said the Trespassers were "drunk" - there didn't appear to be any staggering movements and all actions were deliberate - the term "yobs" was used as the most polite description I could think of.

I do possess an FAC and an SGC (don't have any 410's anymore, just the bigger stuff) - all items safely locked away.

Apologies for not noticing the typo in the original Subject Line (the missing "T").

At the moment I'm also parking my "modern" at a diagonal across the back of the Series MM. Both moggies have disconnected batteries, in addition to the other "immobilisers".

Low powered battery operated electric fence unit would work a treat. As a younger man I was a shearer and in one shed one of the men had a very tasty VW which he didn't want peed on by every full bladdered dog on the farm. Was actually hilarious to watch.I don't think the farmer was quite as cheered by the action as we were.

One of our cameras picked up two men walking back up our shared driveway to the main road at the weekend.
I went out to see what they were up to but they were long gone.
The following morning we discovered that the gas meter from the empty property next door had been removed.
The scum had simply turned off the gascock and uncoupled it leaving the gas supply pipe under full pressure.
I dread to think what could have happened if some other lowlife had come along and turned the tap back on!
Is a gas meter really worth stealing? :( :-?
