When you get the new pump take it out for a good 15-20 miles, mine was new and faulty after 9 miles.
This was the electro mechanical variety not the electronic type.
Mine isnt the only one returned faulty.
Replaced foc of course,but all the same.

Part of the delay in supply is because Brulens have had previous problems with coils and diaphragms, which they say have now been resolved but I certainly will be taking it for a decent run....with the old pump in the boot, just in case!!

No! As long as you have the spare pump with you - it will NEVER fail !
