You just have to go with the sidevalve, they look so good when prepared correctly,

Here is the one out of my 100E full Aquaplane.

You won't get much gain in performance fitting a Shorrock c75b to a 1275cc unless you overrun it, if you do that you risk causing damage to it as it wasn't designed to overrun. The c75b compressor gives optimum performance to engines up to 1100cc. The sidevalve route is a good way to go, but you will need to have the engine lightened and balanced by someone who knows what they are doing....being a sidevalve it does have its limitations :D

hey that looks awesome, is that an alta head? iv been looking everywhere for one of those haha do you have anymore pictures of the car? would love to see more, also do you think supercharging a 1100 is better than a side valve?

Yes an Alta head and c75b. I built the car 12 years ago and have been running it ever since.
It is an original unrestored 52 convertible, I rebuilt the underside but left the bodywork/interior unrestored. I do attend some rallies in it now and again, I also have a couple of series II vans.
It depends on what you are trying to achieve for your car, supercharging a 948 or 1098 with the c75b is the best match to the displacement of the c75b supercharger.
