Footman james are expensive i find tbh. When many young members reach 21, id suggest going with lancaster insurance. Theyre much cheaper. As for the 'young blood', well this isnt relected in the national is it?

It sure is! The Young MMOC members had a very large camping area last year and also put on a display in Branch Avenue. In fact they had so many cars they weren't all able to exhibit them on Branch Avenue. As for the 21 age limit most insurance companies won't even consider a youngster until they are 25.

This year will be my 9th consecutive national rally attendance, (travelling from northern Ireland, and aged 26) the national rally team must be doing something right.

You sound very bitter, I understand you would have liked to take your dog but to show such anger in your posts seems over the top! :o

I am obviously quite an easy going person,
I have to say reading some of these posts I find it quite sad and upsetting, criticizing the organization of the national rally.
Unfortunately it seems the policy of the site is no dogs, so I am afraid that was a choice that was made by the organizing committee, but I see dogs are allowed in the camping area.
To knock what is a voluntary group organizing such a big event like this, and not offering help, I find quite rude, so just think about your harsh words before you post them as I really think this is not what the club is all about, and if I was helping to put on this event (which I'm not) I would be very hurt!
I am looking forward to it!
So thank you national committee and see you in the summer!

I have to say I agree, I also think this subject has now been discussed beyond the point of being constructive.
And I'm sure the organisers are not 'anti-dog'.
So I think this was summed up by the person who said 'you can't please all of the people all of the time'.

In the meantime I'm sure the organisers would welcome the ideas / suggestions of those who think they can do better.

It's certainly ballooned from the original issue, however there was a rather strange offhand post here on the 3rd page from audrey, that has now been deleted, I suspect by the poster, so maybe that fact has been acknowledged.

Dogs are allowed on the camp site. People are also allowed on the camp site - you do not have to camp there, you might be visiting friends. Just suppose that instead of complaining and criticising in a non-constructive manner, a few people got together to organise a dog creche on the camp site? Some fencing, some shade, and some water bowls, with a shift system for people to attend to the dogs. Just a thought.

Tend to agree with Alex, there's not much constructive that can be added although the dog creche is a fantastic idea :)

I think young Daniel is just having a bad day

could it be you (like me) feel you are being misled into thinking you are getting the THE insurance deal of the year just because they are recommended and wave large banners on the club products and rallies etc
