Daft(ish) Question-
How does one unscrew light bulbs from the bulb holders- is there some kind of sucker tool to grab them as my fingers slip before the brass unscrews on all but the illumination lights?
Thanks

Yes there is ... Also to minimise risk of cuts if the glass shatters. But they should release easily. Wear rubber gloves....

They are spring loaded also. Sometimes pulling gently at the central cable releases the pressure on the bulb which helps it unscrew.

A piece of suitably sizes rubber tube pushed against the bulb should give enough purchase to turn it.

I am going to try blu-tak first, got the illumination lights out, one had failed, one I swapped into Blocked FilterLight, where it was missing, new ones 2.2w 12v, same as rear no plate light ones.

They shouldn't be the same as the number plate light bulbs
