Shouln't need much more than the width of the car, I think the side rails sit close to the body.

Not exactly in your neck of the woods, but I have said roller - what measurements do you need?

Why not just design something more custom.

Great piece of equipment above provided that your bumper irons are solid. How did you get the car high enough to mount on the tilter?
Have a look at:-
http://www.cjautosheywood.co.uk
Basic car tilter CT01.
They also have other models available but not at the Grumpys original price!

It was a case of jacking up one end at a time and supporting it with axle stands until it reached the required height.

Thanks for the info
The cjautosheywood CT04 has a build in lift facility and has on the advert the obligatory Minor suspended in mid air.

Lifting and packing that high brings back memories of having to lift two Ruston Hornsby 0-6-0 LSH locomotives to get the wheels out. Could have done with a heavyweight tilter for that job!!

The minimum to remove should be the battery and engine oil. If you're rolling with drivers side down then it's worth to put a pin in the brake m/c cap breather hole.
. Obviously - battery out, engine/gearbox & axle oil out and probably hydraulic fluid too?
That's the best idea if you are doing structural repairs on the shell.*I also add some extra load bearing items (e.g. jacks) to distribute the load far n wide around the shell.
