I'm pretty sure its not the cylinder, It seems to be concentrated arround the hub. the pedal feels fine - no pumping needed. I'll check the break fluid level see if its dropped at all.
185 tyres! - I put some van wheels on the back of mine, they take 165s, 185s would need a 6 inch wheel at least!

Even 165 tyres are a wee bit large for the van wheels........

I managed to get the hub but off, after much pain.
Now I'm stuck on the hub, I can't budge the thing! Tried putting the wheel on but all my tugging does is rock the car...

Got it off by inverting the brake drum, putting a spanner across the back and screwing it down!

Do the bearings/seal just push out from the back?

Indeed yes. Wht was it difficult to undo the nut??

Yeah, the nut was awful haha, chisel didn't work, ended up getting a bench vice on it and putting a bar through to get some leverage... They make good giant adjustable spanners!

You just weren't hitting the chisel hard enough......... But as long as you got it off!
