why go back to the mot centre :-? what are they going to do,they just tested the car,they are not going to be interested now,its possible that the brakes were fine at the test,and when was it done, yesterday, or 6 months ago ,cylinder rubbers on old cars can be fine one minute and gone the next,thats why it pays never to fit just rubber seals,fit a new cylinder.And check the condition of the wheel cylinders every year or so to see if there is any dampness inside the drums,and renew if at all doubtful.

what is to lose by going back? :-? I did say if it felt odd when driven away.Do they have the brake results from the rolling road? I would go back :D

It was the previous owners who put her through the MOT. Brakes were fine. When I purchased her, the braking wasn't good but I think that's because I had never driven a car with drum brakes. The brake pedal felt fine, it wasn't pulling to one side and there were no leaks. I think it's just one of them things that has happened.

Do get your friend to check out the rear brakes as well. You don't want to drive around if one of the brakes is not working properly.
