A tip for preserving CV boots, gaiters and other rubbery things under the car: spray them regularly with tyre dressing or wet shine.

'Triumph trunnions' are a different matter all together - I wouldn't argue with EP90 in there. Ignore the grease advice if you wish - ignore the 15 thou advice at the peril of your exhaust seats and valves !
