No need to apologise customjob. To be honest, some of your posts did seem a bit over the top, as I was only asking a question, and not advice about my driving skills, but what you may have well intended as advice, may have come across differently, thats all.

I wouldnt call myself a new driver as Ive been driving since 17, and have had numerous cars, including a couple of sports cars that have been the trickiest to drive even for the more experienced driver, so I wouldnt really say I am a driving newbie, as Ive owned more varieties of cars than some people do in a lifetime lol. :D

Maybe I should have been more aware of the speed bumps, but it was an accident, and accidents happen to even the best of us.

I would rather this entire question/thread deleted as I dont wish it to cause friction amongst us all, and I would like this post to be the last post on this thread, as I have already regretted asking the question on speed bumps! :D lol

That's sometimes the problem with internet messageboards. People can read things into messages which isn't actually what the poster intended, even if the response isn't directed at them and the person who the message was addressed to isn't offended by the response.

I don't personally see anything here which comes across as stating that your driving was dangerous, or that anyone here has been 'unfriendly', so hopefully the responses here haven't put you off asking other questions or contributing to disussions. I've yet to see anyone being deliberately unfriendly or unhelpful to a new member. The thread contains some useful advice and will be helpful to someone with a similar query in future so rather than delete it I'll lock it, on the grounds that your request has now been answered :)
