just found another problem :cry: went for a spin on by-pass!!! now the speedo wont pass the 20mph it works well up to that reading :-? now whats wrong with the bloody thing :-?

Was the car only doing 20 mph......? Was the odometer still clicking round ok? Probably just a sticking needle..... But of course could be the drive from the gearbox is slipping.

i was doing well over 20mph, and the odometer was working ok? how do i fix a sticking needle? will check drive in gearbox if i know needle is free :cry:

Surely if the odometer works the cable must be fine?

Since it seems to be wildly inaccurate anyway, I would just look for one with a more appropriate tpm.......
