Depending on the age of the baby - the Mothercare "Nanu" type of stroller fits into the saloon boot as it folds in half - which leaves room for the baby bag and the toys!

Aw Thanks everone for posting, it's been really helpful.
I think what I can take from this is:
- A traveller would be the preferred option funds allowing
- But if all else fails A saloon will be perfectly fine too
And to think my Mrs was trying to get me to get a eurobox
