Blimey can we have less about Rovers and Triumphs (all outclased by MG anyway) and more about the blower motor? Incidentally blower motor even more pathetic on my MGA

I just wanted to say I once owned a 2000tc and thought it had the most fantastic driving position, fitted like a glove. I suppose it was my first 'real' car.----- Ok back to heaters!

I seem to remember a Norwegian model of the morris minor had an extra blower on the intake vent, seen a picture of it somewhere. :-?

Hi Ashley, do you make an uprated motor that will fit straight in to a minor heater unit?

They're a remarkable thing aren't they - ergonomically perfect.... though apparently not for discussion. :o

In the end, I managed to mod a Bosch motor from a Rover 75 (and doubtlessly many other modern cars with this traditional type impeller blower motor) to fit.

Not sure you could fit one in a Minor, but worth a go if you were stuck. The heater box in a P6 is vast compared to the Minor one so I had plenty of space to work with. It's about 2 ft across and 12 inches deep. You have to remove the engine to take it off the bulk head! It was pretty revolutionary though - a proper multi-directional ventilation system where you can set the exact temperature you want. Not bad for 1961.

I'm struggling to think of a single MG that even got close to the edges of the envelope, let alone pushed it! MGC is probably the only one I'd consider owning, but each has his preference. And I respect that.
