Just noticed you changed the title to "32 years" WoW!
Agreed that if you get the ignition lights then your supply from the regulator to the ignition switch is okay. If you get 12v on the white/red at the solenoid when you turn the key then it may be the solenoid at fault. If not you want to checkout the ignition switch.
The fuel pump is also fed from the ignition switch and your oil light is coming on so you are getting power to the whites at the fuse box. You may have a problem between the white connection at the fuse box and the white at the fuel pump. Do you get 12v at the pump? Also check the pump is earthing properly.

Thirty-two years? If I weren't on the wrong side of the ocean I'd love to give you a hand just for the fun of it. That's a long, long time -- of course it also means that it has 32 years less wear and tear on it. What year was it made? Do post pics when you have time.

The fan turning both ways is fine, in operation it will only turn one way and has the water pump on it.
Take the air cleaner off and chuck about an egg cup full of petrol down the throat of the carb.
If that doesn't result in at least a short burst of running then take a spark plug out and rest it on the engine with the lead attached. When you turn the engine over with the ignition on you should be able to see a spark.

The top pulley is the water pump -- and yours may be toast. Mine was so corroded inside (after sitting for ten years) that the impeller broke free from the shaft. That may have happened to you, or you may have just broken the corrosion loose. At any rate, you probably should pull it and have a look (this can wait until after you've got it firing over -- but don't run it for long without checking). Post when you get to that point if you need some advice on doing the water pump. Sounds like you're getting closer!
