been over to the car today swapped the regulator its now open when switched of and the closed when engine is running i can see that its i sparking in the regulator and then it stops so is this suppose to happen thanks in advance

Sounds fair - is the red light going off when you rev up - and do the headlights get brighter when you rev up??

hello red light went out anyway and still does cant rev the engine atm as only 1 person but will do this over the weekend so all should be fine now and will i be able to connect my interior light up

You shine the lights against a wall - and press the acc pedal..... the difference should be obvious!

Or you open the bonnet and pull the accelerator cable!
