if you ring Burlen they will be able to tell you which one you need, they are not expensive.

Turn over the one you have - it may well be right! Seriously - this is just a little spacer - it's not critical.

the angle will depend on what inlet manifold you're using. if you've got a protractor to hand you can measure the angle you've got.

Thats exactly the plan of attack. Will measure the angle then order the right one with a service kit for the carb and a fuel pump kit at the same time.
I have tried to turn it over as well but is doesnt fit at all that way. I notice on the old HS2 that there appears to be no spacer at all so you must just undo the hs2 and turn them a bit - alot less accurate than a locking spacer.

Unless there is a known problem - I wouldn't start on 'service kits' - just run it! There's little to go wrong.
