So do I - used to be bright blue I think!

That's the one. Bought it off ebay last year from TV's Col Dick Strawbridge. Since then its had a 1275 ital engine and gear box. Disc brakes, replacement wings and doors. had to replace the scuttle panel and repair the roof line and make new gutters. It has a new head lining and heated windscreen waiting to be fitted. Then the carpets and door cards will be replaced. If there is any money left then it will be time to do the camper side. I bought a pop top from a comma van which will get fitted some time. The main lesson learnt is to leave the rose coloured specs at home when you view a vehicle. The thing is so nice though. I parked it between a Bentley and an Aston at a car show last year and it got all the attention.[frame][/frame]

I recognise that road! "Bluebell" as she was called in a past life was parked outside my house helping my Daughter move house - hence the bed! Nice to see her being brought back to life. Keep the pictures coming.

The roof and gutter area looks a bit ropey back then...
I need to do the same job on my van at some point as its been well fileld around that area, but do have a spare roof stashed away which may be the easiest way!

That hole had spred by now everywhere. fortunatly the chassis was solid and all the back is ally so no worries there. The cab will get a coat of paint this weekend or next. Its booked on the ferry to the IOM for TT week. cant wait, sitting up the mountain watching the racing. Cup of tea on the go. What fun COME ON GUY MARTIN, THIS TIME !!!
