the banner might need some repairing though

Nonsense, we're young and it reflects our 'don't give a damn attitude' to life

Stunning car, rebuilt to perfection and admirable standards, I'm not convinced even when new they came out the factory this good. Inside wheel arches and chassis underside put my exterior paintwork to shame.

Any idea what wheels these are? They remind me of the ones on Garry Ellis' famous custom convertible.

Very nice photos Jon, our branch stand looks good there

we managed to fit 11 on at one point

And the skip scavenge was started by the ni branch not us

But being students... All but one red seat seems to have been saved and given to people who will find them useful

I fear the measures may have been a little on the strong side though. I'm still not entirely sure whether the AGM was just a lot shorter than normal or whether I passed out for an hour

I think Dan was at the front of the queue, looking for items to fit to his newly purchased boot rack

That's shocking, on the one hand someone can do what they want with their own stuff but they could have left it in a big FREE pile, not in a skip. Was it just rear seats or was there other bits of use?

seats, seat covers, bumpers, door cards and a carb
Can't remember anything else being fished out.

Yes it was indeed. Makes a great camera platform amongst other things. Goes on the road too!
The poor old things not looking at its best these days, I think it was towards the back end of last year when it was last washed. Must try harder!
It was also my 1935 Raleigh bicycle too, one of the few items on site old enough for the '40's theme!
I think the only thing left in the skip was a red back seat. everyone ends up with a good spare back seat when a Minor gets scrapped as they've never had the use, and not many folk want them... I got some blue door cards for my wife's 2 door to replace the ones with overspray on them (it wasn't me btw!) and a limeflower doorcard for passing onto another branch member with a teal blue trav. I don't think much got wasted.
Nice to see all these pictures. Being stuck with the stall, I didn't get to see much of the show.
