Plug socket on a speedbrace is the only way........ Why do folks want to carry Metric spanners when there isn't a Metric nut or bolt on the car ? I assume it must be to assist broken down 'moderns' they find on their travels ?

I notice that on Fleabay and other tool suppliers it is still easy to purchase Imperial spanners, ring/open ended combo. I spose I could go this way too, but that would be of no help to other drivers who are broken down in a 'modern'. I use the hammer exclusively for the Moggy!

Thankyou for concurring and reinforcing my veiw that plug sockets are of no use, and that spark plug removers are the way to go.

You won't overtighten a spark plug with the proper (rubber lined) plug socket on a speed brace...much easier/faster than fiddling about with a silly 'spark plug tool'....
