PS you need 2 triangles if you dont have hazard lights.

and HiViz jackets (in case you breakdown) I think it's an offence in France not to carry them

The HiViz jackets need to be inside the car too, makes sense really, hopefully less chance of getting splatted while digging around in the boot for it!

I drive a lot in France and would say watch for mobile radar speed traps in odd places like behind bushes. Also priority to the right is something a lot of English drivers ignore with potentially disastrous results. Two neighbouring villages can have different priority rules. As a general rule if joining traffic has no stop or give way line be vigilant as the locals expect you to yield.

from my driving in france, i think priority is held by he who values their car the least...
