It looks like he has taken a section of the front engine bay/ chassis legs/ suspension towers/inner wings and grafted them into the minor

HI ,I BUILT TRUDYS MINOR,SHE,S MY WIFE,THE PROBLEM WITH A STANDARD BAY SET UP IS NOT ONLY LENGTH BUT THE WIDTH,A 2WD EXHAUST MANIFOLD AND TURBO SETUP,THEN THE COSSIE TWIN CAM HEAD ,ADD THE INTAKE PLENUM AND INJECTOR SETUP ,IT WILL BE TIGHT,OUR MOG IS AS STATED A DOUBLE RAIL SPACE FRAME SETUP,AND THE FRONT IS A ONE PIECE FLIP FRONT ,AS THINGS LIKE THE EXTERNAL WASTEGATE AND EX MANIFOLD PASS RIGHT THREW WHERE YOUR INNER WINGS ARE,ALSO OUR BULKHEAD IS RECESSED TO GET THE WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION RIGHT OVER THE FRONT SUSPENSION ,CHEERS ROB SLATER.[frame]

hi rob
Ive put the cosworth 2rwd in my moggie as well but didn't want to run turbo like yours
it goes very well and stops as well
its escort and sierra based
escort rear axle with a atb diff and disk conversion
gaz front coil overs and cossie four pots and disks (285mm)
its been on the road now for around 6 years with out any problems
im in the middle of fitting throttle bodies to it and an emerald ECU to run the car
hope to have it going in the next few months

Why not just have a Ford Sierra Cosworth engine in the car it was designed to go in?? A Sierra Cosworth.

You know the engine would fit and there would be no "issues".

I also wonder why folk who are obviously anti custom vehicles waste their time with inane comments on what is after all the Custom and Modified section.
Same culprits though

Obviously too much time on their hands when they should be searching for that original 1960 air for their tyres
