Yes - screw them on after carefully cleaning the threads -with just a film of oil. Turn them back one turn from 'full on' - and feel for any sideways play. There will be a little - you need to use your judgment. But if modifying the hubs is not difficult (I have no idea) - it would be best to fit complete new assemblies and have that peace of mind......
