here is the rest of my current stable (finally), taken when i was tidying my garage up a bit- found loads of bike stuff i had forgotten i had, including some NOS tyres! anyhow

heres my dads emmelle bondi beach cruiser bike, that we bought from the dump a few years ago. it has some chrome(ish) mudguards, but i put some 2 1/2" tyres on, so clearence is a little tight. i shall put the originals back on this summer, and the mudguards.( i need the tyres for another project)

my pride and joy giant stiletto, kind of like a grown up schwinn stingray. it looks hard to pedal, but it has a 7speed rear, so it rides beaut.

and finally, my all time favourite. my kustom kruiser glide deluxe. i would sell my moggie before i sold this, it has so much sentimental value. it was the first new bike i ever got. my parents put themselves out to buy it for me ( we split it 3 ways) , and that means alot. i added the lights.

If it's seamed, it won't be Reynolds
True, although i didn't do a good job of describing it. What i was referring to was the discoloured trace of a join where tubing starts as a flat sheet and while still hot, is rolled and the facing sides worked together to form a tube. I believed it's referred to as homogenized tubing and is distinctly different to seamed tube which rolled and welded. I believe Reynolds 500 was homogenized tubing but the vast majority of their stock is drawn where the tube starts as a lump of hot metal which is pierced and drawn into a tube.

Erm... I have eight. :o
Two weeks ago I had ten so i feel justified in keeping the remainder as I have clearly made an effort by getting rid of 20% . 8)

i reckon i have ten bikes, and numerous parts, and every other time i go to a bootsale i seem to come home with another! i often have to resist, but my mum was not there today to tell me i didn't need it!

it is a disease, just like old cars

here is my bootsale found raleigh bomber. it was £25 so i offered £20, and got it. it ain't bad, just rubbish, non original plastic pedals, that are a bit knackered, and the decals are a little rough. it has original tyres and brake blocks, so its a bit of a hairy ride! it is, according to someone who knows there stuff, and has had the bikes to prove it worth about 5 times what i paid for it, but i'm not so sure. the sturmey is dated 9/82
