No, I don't think so. I emailed the son and he hasn't replied, so I assume they wern't keen. I might try again and see.

Offer officially rejected. His son said that he wants 'at least' £500 for it, and if he doesn't get it he'll just hang onto it for a few more years and maybe get around to doing it up. I can only wish him luck if someone will pay him £500. Can't see it worth even half that myself. Worth a try anyway.

That's a little sad. There's two (hmm, well at least one anyway) cars that could and should be back on the road but will probably ending up getting scrapped or sold a few years down the line for the price you offered.
Until then, they'll just be waiting, and getting worse.

No - start at £100, and be prepared to be slowly/reluctantly talked up to hopefully £125, but £150 at very tops........
