Sounds about right... you need a deft flick to get the clip out - it isn't easy, but it's possible.

Maybe the hammer idea isn't such a bad idea after all then :lol: ;) Maybe i'll try some WD40 to see if it helps at all.

i am still trying to work out how are u ment to use a hammer to remove wiper baldes

Ha, Chief cursed at me when I used WD40 to get his window winding mechanisms working again (admittedly SMILE has only just stopped smelling of WD40) but now he realises it's true worth.

(Can also be used for cleaning grease & gunk off your hands!)

A hammer can be used to remove anything :wink:

we got if off at last, but will the rain be kept out :D The clip actually stayed on the wiper so no having to search for clips that had sprung off :)

Hooray, now all you have to do is change the bonnet gaskets to be entirely sure :)
