This is epic. Awesome stuff.
There's nothing better than seeing the pics from a restorer with big balls (pardon the expression).
It's really inspiring.
Nice work!

Thank you for sharing your skills, I'm glad you chose a Moggy to save too. The end result will be very rewarding, with the huge back up in terms of spares, you could be tootling along in this car for many many years to come. Excellent work.
Mind you don't take too much strength out of the car though... you want it all to go back the same again.

It just looks fantastic! I envy your welding skills...and I fear someday I may have to emulate them. I can't thank you enough for taking snaps of the insides of those panels -- I've long wondered what's behind them!

Can't wait for the next round of photos!

Hi Daniel, it's looking good

Looking at some of the features of this car it seems to be a slightly later model than 1956, I think around 1960. Do you know the chassis number?

Nice neat work! Good to see someone making good butt welds and neat repair panels.
Only suggestion I can make is the rear spring hanger section, don't keep the rusty originals behind nice new inner wing repair sections, you can buy new rear spring hanger repair panels of a high quality from ESM, UK made too and they fit very well and of decent gauge steel. Such an important suspension mounting area reallly need quality repair panels.

I agree, quite fantastic!
however, i like the ole' motto...
"don't have do be a good welder, just a good grinder"
