I didn't buy it but I am sure in Classic Car Weekly there was a set 4.5in minor wheels for sale. They wanted £55 per wheel I think, sorry but for more info you will have to go and read/buy CCW.

Interesting though it is to hear about men's supermarket trolley experiences, to get back on topic, yes there is an ad in this week's CCW. The seller (in Cheshire) has twelve 4.5 J wheels for sale.

A trolley is also a good source of wheels if you want to make your own wheel dollies (obviously you would need to 'buy' a trolley...)

To get back to the 'off topic' discussion though, perhaps the seat in the trolley should be man sized to prevent wandering off in 'hunter, gatherer' mode and returning with armfulls of useless items?

Without my visit to the Tesco readers room I might not have spotted the wheels, so to an extent my better half has done us a favour. We only really have a Tesco in Inverness (Known as Tesco town locally) so if you can't buy it at tesco then it's probably not worth having. So without having much choice it has to be Tesco for me over Sainsburys.

The small trolleys are also good for keeping tools in.

When I was an apprentice electrician doing night shifts in M&S we used to race the trolleys around the shop floors to relieve the boredom.

According to the other half, all the stuff she buys (including the excess food that gets thrown away, or the wrong size clothes that are not checked until after it's too late to return) is not 'useless'. I think I'll have to start avoiding this topic to keep my blood pressure down.
