I found that the Meguiars clay bar, lubricated with their detailing spray, removed most of the overspray that 'somehow' found its way onto my car at a paint shop. Only the big blobs were left. The clay was good at removing stuff that you could not see but could feel by sliding your hand over the surface.
The rest of the Meguiars 3 step system, cleaner, polish and wax, I have found to be great. Dark green metallic is not a good colour to keep looking clean!

Thanks for the info, I have been thinking about a clay bar for some time but never got round to it.

Now I'm going to give it a go when I get to the spring clean season.

I seem to remember a test on clay bars for auto express, and noticed this on ebay, scroll down the page for the review. Bilt hamber came out on top.

A friend and I have been considering it too. He has a dark blue Saxo and a hard colour to polish. After a go with the clay bar then a bit of Auto Glym polish, it felt glassy, and looked brand new. It was quite an amazing difference. I am going to wait until warmer weather before I do mine. But I fully recommend it over anything.

Has anyone tried turtlewax platinum range of wax polish?
