Whilst I would never argue with Mike on MM's ;-) Mist Green was only available from Oct 51 to Jun 52 - Does that correlate with the other info you have?

It could have been me that lost the VIN translation and not Mike. I guess I should recheck everything now that this is questioning my mind.
I will go back to my past posts.

Sorry Steve - My bad - Just rechecked my book and Mist green was available from Sep 50 thru Jun 52 so as I guessed Mike is most likely correct

(although your interior paintwork looks more grey than green on your pics).

According to info I have Mist Green and Thames Blue were available from September 1950 to June 1952, and looking at the interior colour again it could be Thames Blue. Is there any chance of polishing up a small section to see?

Ian,
I will try to in the next day or so but I just have this strange feeling that it still is Mist Green. The one thing that I know for sure is that the car had a repaint at some time on the exterior and doesn't depict the right color.

Hello,
Does anyone here have a picture of a Thames Blue MM or a Misty Green car that I can compare with mine? I don't mean to be a bit all over the map with this but the car I have might just be a hodgepodge of thins and I would like to get the restoration right.
Any chance the build dates with Heritage might go back that far?

Certainly heritage should tell you the original colour - I keep meaning to go to the reading room there and look my two up but I haven't got round to it yet....

I think that one's Empire green. Mist green is lighter:<br>

It seems that the best place for a shot would be up under the facia or the engine compartment.
I just can't tell because it's faded so much or it least it looks faded but I will try to get a picture uploaded as soon as I figure that out. I used my flickr account for the series of photos posted at the beginning of this thread.
But thanks for the photos...but need interior shots if you can.
So, the Thames Blue cars would have a green interior?

Yes, on a 4 door car.

Looks Thames blue to me... ;) It makes it more difficult because it has been re-sprayed green. But the dash inside looks very very blue.
