I've been looking at this with the service provider. It appears to be down to the number of hits. Basically, the server is too busy to accept any more connections. Thats why it appears to stop and start. Its actually busy sending pages to other users . Hopefully the forthcoming change of software will help, otherwise I'll have to start looking at other options!

When I remember to look there have been less than 20 people logged in which doesn't seem like a lot.
Could it be the number of pictures per page, is an issue or is it another site they are hosting getting the hits?
