I have an old dealership listing book that lists most of the dealers in the 60's so if you need more details I may be able to help.
Kevin,
Can you confirm for me please that HR was originally a Wiltshire registration, my
elder brother seems to think so !
Thanks....

My car's registration is NTG which according to the number plate list given should be from Glamorgan, however on the old buff logbook I have the first owner lived in Harley Street, London, W.1. and the car was taxed several times in the London C.C. district before moving to Bristol, Leicester, Loughborough and finally Sheffield.
Now I'm confused of Sheffield!
Ideas anyone?
Regards Ian

Could be that the car's original registration number was sold. What is the registration number on the original buff logbook as that is likely to be the car's original registration number.

I'll tell you why I'm confused - I haven't had the car for too long and I got the number wrong! Ooops!
It is NGT which is from London. Embarassed from Sheffield!
