PSL 184 you are a genious! I've just had the tyres removed ready for the wheels to be sand blasted and guess what? the inside of the rims are silver. I can now get this matched and then painted the correct colour.
Many thanks for your help.

That's great Bob - When you get a colour match let us know what modern colour it is closest too as there is a lot of debate over what is the correct shade of silver....

I'd be interested in that too Bob as i'm in the same boat, looking for the correct shade of silver for my wheels.

PSL 184 Hi
Today I went to the local Auto Paint Shop and searched through the British Leyland paint colours on the basis that I thought that Platinum Grey, as listed on the Moggie paint list, was a good possibility. I found a number of Platinum shades but no Platinum Grey. I then looked through the more modern colours and came up with Nissan KX4 Silver Metalic in two pack enamel. This I was assured was a very close match so I purchased a Litre. I then took the wheels and had them sand blasted and dropped them off for painting. This will take approx 2 weeks so I'll keep you posted on the result.
