Hi Guys,
I have managed to solve the ride height and manage to revert it back up by 2 inches.
Firstly i have check and early minors have 7leafs springs fitted instead of 5leafs which are from late minors.
I have managed to find a leaf spring restorer locally which specializes in lorry/goods vehicle leaf springs. This is what he explained which i feel is good knowledge.
Attach is a photo of a visual inspection of the leaf springs when you remove it from the car.
How to check is leaf springs
If gaps between springs is significant, your spring is probably past its age.
Another way to check is by taking it to individual springs and have it inverted like a hump and check if its very soft by pushing it down. Mine is very bad, i can basically flatten it easily which explains the height difference.
How i solve my issue
I could just order new 5 leafs or 7 leafs for Minty but shipping is quite costly at GBP120 and as heard, I'm afraid that i might get elongated prematurely. Wouldnt want to risk that.
As told by restorer his spring steel is from Australia and also by adding longer leaf springs = stronger leaf (more weight holding capability)
I added 2 new longer leafs and removed one, or my U bolts will not fit.
As pictured, i removed ORANGE and fitted 2 RED.
Now my problem is solved
Minty is now riding leveled
