Well, they give the standard techniques of course but it's always nice to chat about these things on the forum. Isn't that why we're all here??

Loads and loads of threads on the subject already! It's such a simple thing - yet gets a completely dis-proportional airing!

So many things are "easier said than done".

I've never had much success tuning by ear apart from carbs.

Even marking thing with Tippex can go wrong, when the whole blob moves or doesn't, or gets wiped off when you move something over splines.

If everything is so simple do we need a forum?
