thanks andy and i hope you had a good new year .
the starter was not as hard to change as it looked i got a new one off e-bay
also got the timing sorted by getting a contact less set and a power coil.

the truck is not 100% yet still got ally 5 bar to go on each side of the truck
had 2 weeks off work but it has been far to cold to work out in the garage
the 2 doors will need to be changed a some point as they are just about shot.
looking forward to getting the truck back out.

how is you engine job getting on have you started to change it out.
you will need to get pics up ..
mark.

BIG SMILE ......back in one peice....
yip it made a difference it is much more drivable on the road
as you are not revving is nuts off ever gear change.
so thanks for the info in helping me decide which diff to go for

i would recommend putting a 3.5 in with the 2lt
if you are doing track days the 4.2 would be good but every day driving the 3.5
is nicer.

as for top speed well lets just say my bottle went way before the engine toped out
and the revs at 70 are a few less at 3000 so thats all good.

i am going to re do the dash putting the big speedo back in
have had a carbonfiber dash made will put up some pics next time ...
