I've been offered a restored 1949 MM that basically just needs the engine and trim refitting. What should I do?
Get hold of a V8 and nitrous with leapord skin printed recaro's?

RobThomas,
Make sure you repair by brazing - then you can do a laminated write-up rally sheet saying "never been welded"
Just trying something here: Sausage in a bun???

They could possibly be classed as NVOS new very old stock...

I have the front grill and another right hand wing somewhere.... :-)

Fibreglass will do the same thing!!

Keith. I have some fibreglass front wings and will happily trade your wings for mine and then you won't need to spend weeks de-rusting those awful steel ones.

There can't be that many unwelded cars left, can there? Anyone else driving one?[/quote]
